Ahmed Arushadh also known as the name of "Atta", is a young talent rising in football at B. Goidhoo. He first started playing football at the age of 10 on the sandy roads of his island with his friends.
Now at the age of 19, Ahmed Arushadh is very ambitious with bigger dreams. His biggest dream is to become the best football player in Maldives. We believe our nation surely needs players like Ahmed Arushadh with such talent and passion for football.
According to his interview with Tekkers, Arushadh highlighted his victory in under 23 football tournament held in Baa atoll in Goidhoo. He mentioned, it was one his proudest moment to win the championship of that tournament. He was also selected among the best five football players in Goidhoo Council cup.
He is very happy with the milestones he has achieved in football at such a young age and he firmly believes he can achieve brighter milestones in the future as he trusts his career is promising in football.
He mentioned his biggest role models for futsal players in Maldives are Shaakaa, Haappe and Gabey. “I want to play with Shaakaa, Haappe and Gabey one day” said Arushadh.
For Arushadh, the best two players in B. Goidhoo are Shammoon Jameel and Ibrahim Majid. He always takes inspiration from these players.
