Valvoline, leading provider of motor oil globally, has publicized a press release affirming that the only party authorized to distribute and sell Valvoline products in the Maldives is Sirius Enterprises Pvt Ltd.

This company, under company registration no. C-0123/1993, is registered at H. Citrus, Raiyvilla Magu, Male’, Maldives. According to Valvoline, the relationship between the two companies has existed since 2002.

The press release states that certain other entities, other than the exclusive distributor Sirius Enterprises, have been selling diesel engine oil described as Valvoline Premium Blue in the Maldives. Premium Blue is the only engine oil endorsed and approved for Cummins engines. The Cummins manual states that Valvoline Premium Blue is the genuine engine oil for their engines.

Valvoline states that while Sirius Enterprises is the sole distributor for Valvoline products in the Maldives, the warranty associated with any customer purchases from other sources will be deemed invalid. Furthermore, the authenticity and quality of such products cannot be guaranteed.

All Valvoline lubricants supplied to Sirius Enterprises can be identified by the batch number printed on each product.
