WAMCO defeats FENAKA 2-1 and moves on to the semifinal of the Club Maldives Cup Women’s Division 18/30 Futsal Fiesta. In last night’s other match, Dhivehi Sifainge Club who has already confirmed a spot in the semifinals defeated Trade Club 9-0.

WAMCO had scored 2 goals in the first 9 minutes of the match. These goals were scored by Vanafon Kasaisi and Safiyya Rafa. FENAKA’s only goal was scored by Fathmath Miusa in the second half.

In Group 2, last year’s champions MPL had traveled to the semifinals being at the top of the group. This was after getting 7 points in 3 matches. WAMCO had earned 5 points from 3 matches. FENAKA finished their tournament with no wins in 4 matches. This group’s last match will be played by WAMCO and MPL. The winner will top the group.

Sifainge Club’s Bangladeshi 2 players are exceptional in this tournament. Even last night, Sabina Kathun scored 6 goals and Matsushima Sumayyaa scored a hattrick. The man-of-the-match was Bangladesh National Team’s player Sabina.
