Aminath Azra and Dheena Ahmed have gone to the final of the Litus National Championship Women’s Division.

Azra went to the final after winning all the matches that she played in. Dheena only lost against Maryam Hudhana. She lost that match by a 4-5 frame. Dheena won against Fazaana by a 5-2 frame. And she won against Aishath Ali by a 5-1 frame.

On Azra’s first match on Friday night, she won against Maldives’ second-ranked Aminath Haleem by 5 straight frames. She won her second match that night against Maryam Hudhuna by a 5-3 frame. On Azra’s second match of the tournament on Thursday, she won against Maldives’ seventh-ranked Aishath Ali by a 5-2 frame.

Ali Shavin has secured a spot in the Men’s Division final. His opponent will be decided after the match between Abbas Saeedh and Ibrahim Rasheed.

Mohamed Shahil Hameedh has secured a spot in the Men’s First Division. His opponent will be decided after the match between Hussain Shaaz Mohamed and Hussain Fayaz.

This is the biggest billiard tournament ever held in Maldives. There is a prize pool of over 150,000/- allocated for this championship.
