The 54th Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship originally planned to be held last year in Maldives has been rescheduled to be held on next year’s July.
At first, this championship was set to be held last year’s September 5-11 in the Maldives but due to Covid 19, the competition was postponed for this year’s September. However, the competition was not held in September and has now been rescheduled for next year’s July 15th to 21st.
Bodybuilding Association of Maldives’ Vice president Ahmed Aiman mentioned that it is final that the championship will be held in next year’s July at Maldives. And that since it is held here in Maldives this time, athletes from all over the globe want to participate so there would be around 600 athletes participating in this championship.
Bodybuilding Association of Maldives mentioned that Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation’s Congress would also be held in Maldives during the time of the competition.
Youth Minister Ahmed Mahloof had previously mentioned that the Bodybuilding Association is trying to hold the competition out of Male’.
