Ahusan Hashim and Abbas Saeedh’s pair has earned a spot in the final of the Litus National Billiard Championship’s Doubles Event.

They confirmed the spot in the final after winning yesterday’s match against Ahmed Nafeel and Mohamed Shaahil Hameed’s pair. Ahusan and Abbas won the match by a 7-5 frame.

Their opponent in the final will be guaranteed after today’s semifinal match. This match will be played by Shaahil and Nafeel’s pair against Hussain Fayaz and Ali Shaavin’s pair.

A total of 32 players participated in the Men’s First Division in this year’s championship. And 43 players took part in the Men’s Second Division. In the Women’s division, there were 11 players who participated this time around.

43 teams participated in the Doubles Event and 13 teams participated in the Mixed Doubles Event. Lastly, 5 clubs participated in the Team Event of the championship. They are Club Eagles, Customs Recreations Club, BG Sports, Maziya Sports, and Dhivehi Sifainge Club.
