Maldives Volleyball National Team will play friendly matches against India’s Hyderabad Spikers from today onwards up to 3 days.

These matches are played to prepare for the AVC Central Zone Volleyball Championship in Bangladesh from 23rd to 29th of this month. Recently, Maldives had played friendly matches against Sri Lanka in Maldives as well.

All the three matches played were won by Sri Lanka. Lanka did not lose a single set in any of these matches. But Maldives had improved their performance match after match.

These are the first matches that Maldives played within the last 2 years. Maldives is preparing well for the upcoming tournament.

Maldives will have to play against Bangladesh in the first match of the tournament. The other teams that Maldives will have to face are Uzbekistan, Sri Lanka, and Nepal.
