Club Eagles are the champions of the Litus National Billiard Championship’s Team Event and have gotten the President’s Trophy.

Club Eagles won against Custom Recreations Club in the final by straight 3 games. Eagles won the Doubles category game by a 7-4 frame. The other 2 single games were won by a 7-4 frame and 7-3 frame.

Club Eagles and all the other winners of the tournament were awarded the trophies by President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih.

During the ending ceremony, Billiard Association’s (MPBA) President Ahmed Nasif mentioned that gender equality will be the main priority in all billiard competitions. He was pleased as a lot of female athletes had participated in this competition. He had mentioned that a National Female Team will be formed in the coming year.

Sports Minister Ahmed Mahloof mentioned that a coach will be assigned for the National Billiard Team next year.
