Club Eagles have announced that they will host a Woman’s Football Camp in order to form a Woman’s Team.
Eagles Chairperson, Fathmath Saudh (Thaathu) mentioned that this camp held for 9 days will be coached by women as well.
The camp will be held from Sunday up to next month’s 13th with the help of the Women Football Club organized by former player Maryam Mohamed (Maayan). There is a women’s academy by this club already at Hulhumale. The camp will be coached by Maayan and Women Football Club’s coach Amir Ali.
Thaathu mentioned that she wants Eagles to give as much priority to women’s football as they give to men’s football. She also mentioned that just like the Eagles men’s team, the women’s team will also recruit young talents.
Eagles camp is open for children between 4-12 years old. Eagles asked to call 7908335 to participate in the camp. There will be a fee of 500/- to participate in this camp.
