Unix Sporting in association with the Ministry of Home Affairs has launched Unity Day Virtual Run on the Occasion of Unity Day this year.

Unix Sporting is a team of entrepreneurs working together to bring unique sporting events to the Maldives.

The purpose of this run is to create a sense of Unity in our community by reminding ourselves of the hardships we faced as a nation during the Indian Ocean tsunami of 2004 and how we all came together, joined our hands, and helped each other overcome a life-changing disaster.

The registration for this event has been closed. All the 500 slots have been filled. All participants were able to register for free and the participants will get a Unity Day Run T-shirt for free as well. Unix Sporting has mentioned that they plan to open more slots in the coming year’s race.

This run is held in all the islands of the Maldives. The run will start on 30th December 2021, at 16:00 all around the country.
