Maldives National Women’s Volleyball Team loses their fourth match of the Central Zone Volleyball Championship against Kyrgyzstan.
Maldives women’s squad is playing with a lot of young players this time. Maldives lost the first three matches they played against Uzbekistan, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
Before today’s match, during the warm-up session, Maldives Team’s player Aminath Afaaf Nizam had a leg injury and could not play the match. She was showing a good performance during this tournament. The team’s coach Mumthaz Ali (Munthey) mentioned that this injury had affected the team’s morales.
Kyrgyzstan took the sets against Maldives today by 25-17, 25-11, and 25-20.
Maldives will play their last match tomorrow against Bangladesh. Both the teams have not earned a win in the competition yet.
