Nilandhoo club organizations have partnered up and started a handball coaching camp in Nilandhoo.

This camp that will go on from January 2-8 is specialized for women. However, even men can come and join the sessions.

Spur Generations Club (SGC) is taking the lead responsibility of the camp along with Shabaabu and Nilandhoo Sports Club. The opening ceremony of this camp was held last night at Nilandhoo Futsal Stadium. The higherups of the 3 organizations had taken part in this ceremony. 

During the ceremony, SGC’s General Secretary Shuaib Ismail had mentioned that the organizations of the island are ready to give the opportunity to both young and old people for these kinds of activities whenever possible. 

After Shuaib’s speech, Shabaabu’s SG Mazul Majeedh came on and said that there will be more similar activities for women this year. He also stated that Nilandhoo’s ‘Rahvehi Group’ will hold a sports tournament only for women this year.

Nilandhoo is an island that holds a lot of sports tournaments for its people every year.
