Apex Sports Club defeated Bazooka Sports Club by a stunning score of 14-0 in the FAM Women’s Invitation Cup and have advanced to the final after topping the group.

Apex will have to play against Dotcom in the final on the coming Saturday at Naifaru Turf Stadium.

Previously, it was set that 6 teams would participate in this tournament. However, Hinnavaru decided to back out at the last minute, so the tournament had to be carried on with 5 teams. At the end of the league stage between these 5 teams, first place Apex, second place Dotcom, and third place Kurendhoo FC all earned 9 points. The 2 teams moving on to the final was decided through goal difference.

Fourth place Ideal Movement finished the tournament with 3 points from 4 matches and last place Bazooka had to conclude their tournament without a win.

In yesterday’s match, Apex scored 5 goals in the first half and 9 goals in the second half against Bazooka. Apex’ Fathmath Miusa scored 5 goals while Firushana Naseer and Ramsha Ahmed Simaan both scored a hattrick. Their last 2 goals were scored by Aminath Maisa Mohamed and Aishath Yanal Ahmed.
