The construction of the sub-base of V. Keyodhoo football ground has been completed. The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been contracted by the Maldives government for the sub-base construction of V. Keyodhoo football pitch.
Similarly, MTCC has also been contracted the construction of sub-base of 6 more islands. That including, Fuvahmulah City, GDh. Thinadhoo, HA. Hoarafushi, L. Gan, S. Feydhoo and Th. Thimarafushi.
The agreement of the contract was signed between Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Mr Ahmed Mahloof and the Chief Executive Officer of MTCC Mr Hassan Shah on 11th September 2019.
Despite being a small populated island, Keyodhoo has lot of talented football players. Due to the fast work of the football pitch, the youth of island is thrilled and waiting to play in their new football pitch.
