Adh. Mahibadhoo is the winner of the Tekkers Milo Championship Maldives Cup Zone 3 Block 1 after defeating K. Maafushi by 6-2 in the Zone 3 Block 1 Final.
Zone 3 began in K. Maafushi. In the final of the South Kaafu Match, Maafushi went on against Guraidhoo and won by 2-1. After this, the AA Atoll tournament was held. Bodufolhudhoo came out on top in this atoll, after defeating Thoddoo in the final after a penalty-shootout. In the next stage of the tournament, Fenfushi went against Mahibadhoo in the ADH Atoll final. Mahibadhoo won this match by 5-1 and was crowned as the champions of ADH Atoll. The next day, they went on to beat AA champions Bodufolhudhoo by penalties and were the dominant team in all of Ari Atoll. They faced off against K. Maafushi in the Zone 3 Block 1 Final and won by 6-2.
Adh. Mahibadhoo will have to play in the Zone 3 final in their next match. Their opponents in the final would be the champion team of Meemu Atoll. The Meemu Atoll tournament would start on the 25th of March at M. Mulah.
Tekkers Maldives Cup is a futsal tournament focused on all the islands in the Maldives. The cup will be played in almost all the atolls in the country. This tournament aims to give a chance for the amazing players within the country to shine in the spotlight.
The champions of the Tekkers Milo Championship Maldives Cup will receive a prize money of MVR 50,000/- while the tournament runner-up will get a prize money of MVR 25,000/-. Along with this, different awards such as best young player, best playmaker, etc, are awarded in each atoll.
