After a ruthless 4-0 win against HDH. Kulhudhuffushi, GDH. Vaadhoo showed no mercy to claim the Tekkers Milo Championship Maldives Cup last night. It was truly a breathtaking display of class and teamwork by Vaadhoo which helped them to be crowned as the Champions of Maldives.

Both teams headed into the match with full sharpness and confidence but it looks like Vaadhoo had a bit more. The opening goal of the match was scored by Jersey No.21 Iyaadh, which came off from a notorious short cross from Jersey No.10 Ayaaz Ahmed. Soon after, Iyaadh placed the ball in the back of the net again after a brilliant run and assist from Jersey No.9 Nashaah. The third goal by Vaadhoo was scored by Jersey No.9 Nashaah, seconds before the half time whistle. We saw Nashaah’s agility and accuracy in that goal. The fourth and the last goal came by the ultimate super substitution,Jersey No.7 Mohamed Naail assisted by one and only Ayaaz Ahmed.

HDH. Kulhudhuffushi did not win the final but they truly won our hearts in this tournament. Once again we congratulate GDH.Vaadhoo for winning the honorable Tekkers Milo Championship Maldives Cup.
