Yesterday, Tekkers Maldives concluded the North Kaafu zone of Tekkers Resort Cup. After a very heated final match against host’s The Ritz-Carlton Maldives, Fari Islands, Baros Maldives grinded their way to victory in the final moments.

In the first half of the final match, Baros Maldives took a 2-goal lead by the help of star players Ibrahim Saeed and Hussain Wifag. It was almost like team Baros felt no pressure from the home fans of The Ritz-Carlton Maldives. In the final half, Ritz-Carlton Maldives took control of the game and the top scorer of the tournament Simhaadh Ibraahim made it all square for Ritz-Carlton Maldives. Minutes later Baros Maldives took the lead and inspired the whole team to score another goal.

Baros Maldive’s Hussain Wifag wins the finals man of the match.
