Stars Academy organized the first U15 Boys Invitational League in 2022 in association with IIMPACT Hoops Lab Sri Lanka. Teams from both academies and two Stars Academy partner schools, Billabong High International School & Ahmediyya International School, took part in this significant event.

The league was played at the Hulhumale HDC basketball court on October 21 and 22. The iimpact hoops team won the league championship, with Ahmediyya International School coming in second.

Stars Academy played a significant role in the youth development of the Maldives, and iimpact hoops coach Mr. Praneeth Udumalagala was thrilled to see basketball blossom in the country.

Hussain Zameel, the founder of After the League Stars Academy, has stated that a partnership between Stars Academy and iimpact hoops Lab will take place very soon. He said that with this partnership, we can advance the game of basketball in the Maldives.

Zambe noted the latest cooperation agreement they had inked with STO Pvt Limited, who is now a Platinum Partner. This would make it easier for Stars Academy to build its male and hulhumale programs and bring their camps to atolls in 2023.
