Yesterday, Tekkers Maldives concluded the Baa and Noonu Atoll zone final of the Tekkers Resort Cup. A comfortable final match against Soneva Jani sees Milaidhoo Maldives dance their way to victory.

For Baa and Noonu Atoll Final, Milaidhoo Maldives and Soneva Jani senior members joined together to witness the showdown. Spanish professional football player Joselu Mato and his wife and children also attended as special guests and for the final ceremony’s awards handover.

In the first half of the final match, Milaidhoo Maldives took a 1-goal lead with the help of star players Akram and Unais. From the support of passionate fans, Milaidhoo Maldives felt no difficulty from the opposition fans. In the final half, Soneva Jani managed to get 1 goal back through a penalty just after Milaidhoo managed to extend the lead with an amazing long-range shot from the best player of Baa Unais Zubair who made it 2 for Milaidhoo.

Unais Zubair wins the final man of the match. As Milaidhoo won the shield of Noonu and Baa Atoll as they move forward to face Baros Maldives in the semi-finals held at Crossroads Maldives.
