Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship, held in Nepal, saw Azuneen Rasheedh and Mohamed Yaameen (Yaanbe) earn a gold medal.

In Sports Physique category. Azuneen defended back to back gold medals as he becomes the first Maldivian athlete to do so.

In last years' tournament held in the Maldives, Azuneen won a gold medal in the 170 centimeter category.
