In Dhiraagu Dhivehi Premier League Green Streets is set in the 3rd place by defeating Da Grande last night in a score of 2 – 0.
From starting the match, Da Grande did good attacks. However, after showing red card to the Captain of Da Grande Ahmed Vijdhaan in 13th minute of the match, the team started to face difficulties. Ahmed Vijdhaan got a red card due to a foul he did to Green streets player Ansaar Ibrahim.
After that, Green Streets faced advantages and scored their first goal in 33rd minute of the match. This goal was score by the Hassan Nazeem. Before final whistle of the first half, Da Grande’s Ali Ifaz got a straight red card due to improper use of language while speaking with the referee.
In second half, Da Grande played without two players and Green Streets scored their second goal and expand the lead in 79th minute of the match. This goal was score by Mohamed Rizvan who started the match as a substitute player.
