President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has officially opened the training facility of the National Beach Volleyball Team.

The training court was opened at the Hulhumale' Youth Park. A volleyball game marked the official opening of the facility featuring President Solih, Speaker of Parliament Mohamed Nasheed and Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof on one side. The president's team faced the national volleyball team with Shiunaz Ahmed and Ahmed Ali.

President Solih also participated in another game featuring a team representing the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment against Maldives Volleyball Veterans. The president, speaker, youth minister, in addition to Parliamentarian Ali Niyaz and President of Maldives Volleyball Veterans Sayyid Ali represented the ministry’s team.
