Football Association of Maldives (FAM) has donated MVR 300,000 to PSM sports journalist Saaidh Ahmed for kidney transplantation.

The cheque of money was handed before the match of United Victory and Da Grande Sc faced. This cheque was given to Saaidh by the FAM President Bassam Adeel Jaleel.

Saaidh has done commentaries for Maldives big matches and international matches. FAM mentioned that, while he was in good health, he has spent more times in sports activities. 

Saaidh found out that his two kidneys were failing after consulting a doctor due to infections. After that he started doing dialysis regularly.

Saaidh has started his journalism career in Sun FM in 2009 and he has joined PSM in 2015. He has commentaries football matches and he is producing sports programs as well as presenting it.
