AFC has postponed the AFC cup matches of the south Asian group which were to be held this month, without further date planned for the tournament.

The matches to be played here in Maldives according to the schedule earlier are the lay-off match, where Bangalore FC will be playing against club eagles of Maldives.

In addition to this, Mohan Bagaan from India, Bashundhara Kings from Bangladesh and Maziya sports and recreation are to play in Group D matches of the AFC cup south Asian zone which are also scheduled to play here in Maldives.

Due to the current talks about going into a lockdown and the increasing of daily Covid-19 cases all matches to be played here in Maldives has been postponed.
